Do you only offer portraits?
Althought I primarily do portraits, I also offer custom work for landscapes and abstract art pieces.
What kind of materials do you use for custom work?
For portraits I work with either graphite or watercolour, and for landscapes or abstracts I work with oil paints.
Do you work from a photo?
For portraits, yes! If you have a photo you have taken I am happy to use it as a reference, or if needed I can come and photograph you. For landscapes I can work from photos provided or take my own depending on the location. For abstracts I do not use photo references.
How long does it take to create a custom order?
This varies on the time of the year, during wedding season and Christmas things are much busier and can take up to 6-8 weeks. I will always keep you up to date on the progress of your artwork.
I want a custom order in time for the holidays - when is the best time to order?
The earlier the better, as November rolls around I am in full swing with holiday orders and am very busy. I will put a call out on my Instagram page when my holiday orders are open, and I will update as spots become filled and orders are closed.
