Kind Reviews

"We received a beautiful piece of artwork by Emily of our new dog Buddy! She came to the home to visit him in person and then made a beautiful recreation. We are so impressed with how she captured his energy and enthusiasm!"

Do you need a photo?

I primarily do custom orders from photos (with the permission of the photographer, of course!) but I do also work from life if you wanted to sit for a portrait. The higher quality the photo, the better it is for me to use a reference. With that said, I can still work with older/damaged photos but it will require some additional time!

How long does it take?

The length of time depends entirely on what you'd like painted, how many live events I am currently painting, and the size of the artwork. The best way to find out is to shoot me a message.

I need a painting for this weekend, do you offer rush orders?

I can do rush orders for an additional charge depening on my current workload, reach out and tell me about the artwork you're imagining.

What kind of supplies do you use?

I use artist quality water-based acyrlic paints on either stretched cotton canvas or wood panel.

Will my painting last forever?

I use high quality art materials that will stand the test of time. With proper care and maintenance your artwork could last lifetimes.

Do you only paint wedding artwork?

Nope! I am happy to work with your ideas. I have created portraits of pets, family, cottages, and even abstracts.

Can you combine two different photos into one piece of art?

Depending on the quality of the photos you want to combine I can absolutely do this for you. Send me a message with what you are thinking.

Do you offer framing?

I do! Tell me about what you're looking for and I can provide you with some images of different framing options for your artwork.

Do you take a deposit?

Yes, I do. I take a 50% deposit on any custom artwork orders before starting and the remaining 50% is due before delivery.

Do you accept credit cards?

I currently only accept payment by e-transfer.

Since each custom artwork is, well, custom - pricing is
custom and varies on size/subject/extras.

As a rough idea, an 11x14, two person, watercolour portrait is $250.
